September 6th - 8th, 2019

We will be camping in the “Tree Frog” campsite in the St. Sebastian River Preserve State Park.  Ranger Station located at 1000 Buffer Preserve Drive, Fellsmere, Florida 32948.  321-953-5055.

The “Tree Frog” campsite is a well shaded, cozy, beautiful campsite in the preserve Saturday morning, before the break of dawn, we will go on a day hike with a destination 4 miles North to a dam at the C54 Canal.  After the 8 mile hike, we’ll have lunch back at Tree Frog, and then head out to the nearby Indian River County Outdoor Rifle Range to shoot 22’s and shotguns at targets.    We’ll then return to Tree Frog to enjoy a meal, campfire, and relax!

On Sunday, we’ll have breakfast, break camp, and have an easy Troop Lunch in the parking lot of the North County Aquatic Center in Sebastian for swimming and slides!

Note: This campout, because of it's length, and the multiple activities we're doing is a more costly one.  But the Troop is putting your monthly dues to work by supplementing a minimum of $8/scout to make this more affordable!
