Dec. 28-30, 2011 ** NEW DATE **

We will be camping on Apollo Beach within the Canaveral National Seashore, located north of Cape Canaveral, and 7 Miles South of New Smyrna Beach (approx. 80 miles from Melbourne).   On the second day, we will travel South to the Merritt Island National Wildlife Preserve for hiking.

At Apollo Beach we'll be camping on the beach either in tents or under the stars (your choice).   We will be surf fishing in the daytime, shark fishing at night.  Daytime activities include volley ball (and other beach games), shelling, night hiking, and beach campfires (flag retirement).

On Wednesday, we'll be driving the Black Point Wildlife Drive in the National Wildlife Refuge, and taking a 5 mile hike along the way (bird, alligator, and animal watching).
