Oh Yea!...  Troop 337 is embarking on our third, 4 day, fun filled campout including a Fishing Charter, Snorkel Charter, Indian Key Canoe Tour, Feeding Tarpons at Robbies Marina, Night Fishing, Canoeing, Camping, and more!

This is a different kind of campout for us, as we will not be operating meals by Patrol, but by Troop.   Also, we be doing a lot of away-from-camp activities.

Please carefully plan, and immerse yourself in the information below.  This will make your trip an AWESOME one!

PARENTS - For you son to attend this campout, please do the following:
  1. Please carefully read the INFORMATION SHEET as well as all information supplied to the scouts below.
  2. Fill out the ONLINE REGISTRATION/RSVP/PARENT PERMISSION FORM -  This is to be filled out by the parent and scout together, prior to registration.
  3. If you have not done so already, please make your final payment using the PAYMENT FORM.
SCOUTS (NOT PARENTS) MUST DO THE FOLLOWING 7 STEPS to attend this Campout (see print & download instructions below):
  1.  INFORMATION SHEET - Print it, READ IT, and put it in your Troop notebook  Use it carefully to prepare/pack for the trip.
  2. With your parents, fill out the  ONLINE REGISTRATION/RSVP/PARENT PERMISSION FORM as instructed above (sit with your parents and use link above)
  3. CAMPOUT AGENDA -  Please print this, and pack it for the campout.  Might want one for your Troop Notebook too!
  4. KEYS SPECIFIC PACKING LIST - Print it and use it!
  5. CANOE MAP - Print your own map of the Islands we will be exploring!
  6. Read the SPECIAL CAMPOUT CONSIDERATIONS below.
  7. SW = SHARK(parents are asked to not tell/guide your scouts to this)
INSTRUCTIONS on how to Download & Print Documents: Once you click on the forms above, you may hover near the bottom of the page to print and/or download them using the disc icon.  Also, you may download documents at the bottom of this page (see arrows).
SPECIAL CAMPOUT CONSIDERATIONS - All of this is covered in the information sheet, but here's a few things to especially pay attention to:
      1. Bathing Suits & Towels - Suggest 2 towels and 2 bathing suits (scout or earth-toned).  This will allow one to dry while you wear the other.
      2. Good Water Shoes - You will be spending a LOT of time in the water, and will need to wear good water shoes all of that time.   You may have booties for your fins, but you still need water shoes.
      3. Fishing Gear (optional) - If you bring a pole & tackle, think a strong rod, longer line, and descent sized hooks & sinkers rigs.
      4. Snorkel Gear - Consider carrying is some kind of durable (possibly mesh) bag to keep from losing parts.
      5. Clothing - This is a longer campout.  Bring more changes of clothes.   See the Keys Specific Packing List (above), print and follow it.
Note: It is VERY IMPORTANT that ALL SCOUTS take time to read the info sheet and PACK CAREFULLY.  This is a long trip!

CAMP SAWYER - We'll be right on the water!

SNORKEL BOAT WE WILL BE ON!

SAILORS CHOICE DEEP SEA FISHING BOAT WE WILL BE ON!

INDIAN KEY - WE WILL EXPLORE THE RUINS AND SNORKEL HERE

ROBBIES MARINA - Shop, get Refreshments, and FEED THE TARPON!
