Rummage Sale Sign Up

Hey scouts, 

I made up a signup sheet for the rummage sale on the 16th this Saturday. 

The day is divided up between 3 shifts, Setup in the morning (blue), The 
sale (white), and the pack up (red). 

There should be plenty of spaces for all scouts in the catagories. If there 
are still spaces in shifts that you don't want, but the others are all 
taken up, I'm sorry, but its only fair that they were here first. If there 
are only spaces in shifts left that you can't make because of another event 
or occasion (a baseball/football game for example), please contact me with 
the shift you can make, so I can see if anyone can swap. 

We need parent helpers for this event. We need 4 per shift, so scouts, 
please ask your parents if they can help out!

Hello Fellow Scouts, 
  
  
     Well the day is fast approaching for the troops first ever rummage sale!! The day of the big even is June 16th from 8am till 1pm. As you know the main goal of this event is to raise money to help offset the cost of gas for the summer camps. Wouldn't it be great to be able to tell your parents that because of your efforts no one has to pay for the gas out of their pockets!! 
     You may be wondering what you can do to help the troop get ready for this event. Well there are many things, Some are listed below. 
  
1) Gather items through out the house to donate to the sale. 
  
2) Tell your family, friends, and neighbors to do the same! Remember the more items the more to sell!    
  
3) Bring baked goods to bring to the rummage sale to sell. Make sure they are individually wrapped.   
  
4) Spread the word about the event! Post it on Facebook! Have your parents tell their co workers. Lets make this a huge success!! 
  
     This is an fund raiser that will benefit the whole troop so we are expecting every scout to help out. If for some reason you are not able to make it to the sale please let your SPL know, In any case you can still help out by donating items and bringing baked goods to sell. 
     The drop off of items will be Friday the day before the sale. The location is 3157 Calgary Street. We will have a sign up sheet at the troop meeting and on-line. This is an event the the parents can help out too. This is an event that we will need parents help as well as Scouts.
